The B2g for Literacy Initiative is a transformative program dedicated to addressing literacy challenges among primary school children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Namundera Community of Western Kenya. With the help of committed volunteers, the initiative has provided essential reading and writing training to over 15,000 children. By strengthening early education, the program is laying a solid foundation for academic success and future opportunities. In addition, B2g for Literacy works to combat early forced marriages and teen pregnancies. It has provided critical support to over 2,500 vulnerable girls, offering them the chance to access education and break the cycle of poverty and oppression. The initiative takes a holistic approach to community development by focusing on vulnerable groups, including girls at risk of exploitation and children facing educational barriers. Through education and empowerment, the initiative not only protects at-risk populations but also nurtures a brighter future for generations.

We are calling for partners who can support us incorporate digital technology into the learning experience of young learners in Namundera community to improve their educational outcomes. Your involvement will help the children to gain essential literacy skills, setting them on a path to a brighter future.
At B2G for Literacy Initiative, we are also committed to supporting marginalized girls in Namundera by promoting proper menstrual hygiene for girls. This vital support helps girls stay in school, avoid early marriages and teen pregnancies, ensuring they can continue their education uninterrupted.
